opalbeauty: Why are you talking about Florida and Michigan? I thought that was settled and they are out.

Abviously not ! Hillary mentioned it a gain to day while he was interwied. Hillary knows her chances are too tiney to really count toward her victory and she thinks in alternative ways of becoming the main nominated. It is really sad the existens of such methods at all I beleive. If I could wish any thing really good for better votings in America it would be the best way of election adn that is the matter of popular votes like in most other countries .

Hillary is doing really a lot work to find a way no matter what way(s) to White house.....

Just imagine whom else would suggest Obama as her Vice while Obama just gained a huge victory a gainst her nomination!that really showed she is even "Funny" if not other things!

This Hillary is really some thing I may say......dunno

Reminds me of her so called Work toward a universal health care and she shouted and shouted a bout all those ideas of her and then one lobbyist or three made her Change all of a sudden!

A little history lesson. Issues between Iran and the US didn't start during Reagan's time in the Oval Office, it was during Carter.

The Iran hostage crisis was a diplomatic crisis between Iran and the United States where 52 U.S. diplomats were held hostage for 444 days from November 4, 1979 to January 20, 1981, after a group of students took over the American embassy in support of Iran's revolution.

In Iran, the incident was seen by many as a blow against U.S. influence in Iran and its support of the recently fallen Shah of Iran, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, who had been restored to power by a CIA-funded coup in 1953 and who had recently been allowed into the United States for cancer treatment. In the United States, the hostage-taking was widely seen as an outrage violating a centuries-old principle of international law granting diplomats immunity from arrest and diplomatic compounds sovereignty in the territory of the host country they occupy.

The ordeal reached a climax when the United States military attempted a rescue operation, Operation Eagle Claw, on April 24, 1980, which resulted in an aborted mission and the deaths of eight American military men. The crisis ended with the signing of the Algiers Accords in Algeria on January 19, 1981. The hostages were formally released into United States custody the following day, just minutes after the new American president Ronald Reagan was sworn in.

In America, the crisis is thought by some political analysts to be the primary reason for U.S. President Jimmy Carter's defeat in the November 1980 presidential election. In Iran, the crisis is thought to have strengthened the prestige of the Ayatollah Khomeini and consolidated the hold of anti-Americanism and Iranian radicals who supported the hostage taking. The crisis also marked the beginning of American legal action, or sanctions, that economically separated Iran from America. Sanctions blocked all property within US jurisdiction owned by the Central Bank and Government of Iran.

Hot_Single_Dude: His work resulted in ending Sovviet Union and the "end" of cold war as well and beside in his first turm economichal sitaution of the United states became good.

But!!!!!He was also resulted in terrible economichal situation from the begining of his second turm in Ameirca, Iran Contra gate, Saddams strenghten in Iraq, Eight years of bloody useless between Iran and Iraq, Strengtening and becoming of Alqueda in Afghanistan as well!Specially his/and his administrations rule of Alqueda became as an organisation must never be forgotten I think.

But oak maybe it is best just to remeber people for their best sides.....

I dont!

If there is a family member or a friend ok, but not when they are politicians with great responsibilities affecting millions of human beings!

opalbeauty: ttom, would you like to buy a bridge? Send me a check opalbeauty c/o connecting singles.

I'm really flattered that you think we are all so important here in our little thread that I may actually be a part of history. But please stop believing everything you hear ttom, it's delusional.

Sorry, I forgot some of you republicans like living in a delusion, you like the illusion of control and power and more....
Reality is going to hit you so hard it will knock you unconcious.

Opalbueaty,

You a little person? Opal, if you are giving a introductory speach at the
DNC for Senator Obama...as you have said.....then you are inner circle. What the inner circle does and says goes right back to the canididate himself.

Hard packages in the mails (tomorrow) to campaign managers of both canididates with your post of today. For Barak campaign manager I ask the following.

1) Confirm your association with his campaign and
that you are a introductory speaker for him at
the DNC.

2) If you are associated with his campaign. To give comment
here in the post to if these are Barak Obama's
thoughts on Senator McCain, his war record, his
family life, any organized crime connections that
you aledge and other issues raised.

If I do not get such a reply either here or on Barak Obama campaign letterhead, I will take this public and let media ask the questions and make the connections.

From Senator McCain campaign manager, it is more a information package with the site info so they can monitor it and the thread some. But if they feel such does need to be addressed, they can post here as well or in the media as they choose. Fair enough?

Give them 10 days- 3 weeks to process it. And decide how they want to handle it. We should get some answers from the campaigns then for all here to read.

Opal, no I would not buy bridge from you.:-)
