I was online today looking for an excuse NOT to start my next assignment and found myself signing up here. The forums have been an awesome read so far so just thought i'd take this space to say hi and intro a bit about myself.
I deserted the Ambulance Service last yr after 6 yrs on the job to pursue my dream of being a cop. Now that i'm there, do I like it? Um i'll get back to you on that! I also work as a nurse (mainly mental health and kiddies) and am a mother of 2.
I know which is the most challenging!!
Aforementioned kiddies are computers hogs at nights, so i'll be here mainly during day. But am looking forward to chatting.

bourbon: Well well, look who's back....You are hilarious bourbon...perhaps you need to learn the art of hiding profiles for reasons of not getting contact...

Well if Mr spelling B had learnt his spelling he would realise it is spelt both Pediatrics (also spelled paediatrics)........
And english is not my birth language..doh

Shows how childish some are when they attempt to laugh at others...yet in their threads they defend others and present themselves as patrons of justice....

The way you spelt it was "pedaetrician" which is incorrect, anyway that does not change the fact that there is something seriously dodgy about you whoever you are. I have read your threads because I was suspicious about you and they are hilarious, you should read about your own threads sometime.

You will never be a good liar when you have a bad memory.

So is it true you are really a man as a lot of people here seem to believe?

Australia is the land 'down under', and we are proud of it. wink

I would imagine that they hop from forum to forum, trying to steer clear of the people who can see through the rubbish they post. drinking

I feel like I have hijacked this thread so I will try to get it back to where it was.

For what it's worth I am a Professional Artist, Changed to digital media some time ago and concentrate on short Film. I have moved recently to very beautiful and secluded location beside a lake to plot my next attempt to take over the World. laugh

I guess to say I love my work is a bit of an understatement, I am just as passionate about it now as I was 30yrs ago. I avoid any level of publicity like the plague and I guess unusual in that I have working constantly since my first and last exhibition in 1986. I hated the limelight but was really good at it and loved the rock n roll lifestyle that went with it and the money too. I had ten years of fast cars and even faster women. I don't know how I survived, most of the people around me have not.

So I pile up the work, and it matters not if it is never seen until after my death. I know my work is good, but it is not for me to ever decide whether it is great. I would rather be judged by a generation as yet unborn and if they can look at my work and say I captured something of what it was like to live through the latter part of the 20th century and now with a different medium in the beginning of the 21st. Then and only then will I have been successful.

Ars Longa, Vitae Brevis.
