I have said before that my granddaughter is half white and black. She has the african hair and we are having trouble keeping the fuzzes off it. No matter what we do they just cover her head. Have tried special spray for her hair, also have put baby oil in it. Nothing works. Can anyone give me some advice.conversing

She is going to be 3 years old next month. Her hair is short, we have taken her to a hairdresser where she cut her hair even, but it still seems so dry and the fuss just sticks to it and ends up caught in it.

Do you mean an African salon or just the hairdresser as the hairdresser that did her hair was not African but said does a lot of African hair.

Take her to an African hairdressers and they will braid it with some other hair and colours which will make it look so good and pretty and seemingly when it's done it lasts for so long......wave

You know..im not too sure what ingredient it has in it to take away the frizzies...maybe the egg and oil combined...not too sure..but a hairdresser told me this a few years ago and i tried it..and have been doing my mayo shampoos since...i swear by it now though..cheers

Afterwards do you rewash with regular shampoo or just leave it smelling like mayo.conversing

If you can just heep her hair silky..they have great prducts in the drug stores now ..almost every brand carries it..and fairly inexpensive..but a cream for curls..leave in cream...loreal..studio line,,herbal essences..they all carry these leave in curl cream..it helps curls to not be so corse(sp)..more soft and tame...

Im sounding like a commercial.....laugh
