There has been an alarming increase of workers dieing while at there work stations. While this is an unfortunate occurrence there is ample evidence that these people are mearly sleeping. Therefore the management has put together these guidelines to determine if he/she is sleeping or has in fact died.
Step one, check if the person is breathing, check if the person has a pulse.
findings, The person has no pulse and doesn't appear to be breathing. Be aware that some people can be such sound sleepers that these indicators may be hard to detect.
Step two, Wave a paycheck in front of the persons face. It isn't necessary to hold the persons eyes open because our workers can detect a paycheck within arms length with their eyes closed and will grab it faster than a Rattlesnake . While this is a pretty good test it isn't foolproof. Be aware that it may just be a reflex action. The final test is to wait til the quitting time alarm sounds. If the person suddenly springs to his/her feet and bolts for the exit, it is probable that they hadn't died.
