smoky: I must say, not having a completely full grasp of the German language helps me to lead a very peaceful life ..... not being able to fully understand what is written in the newspapers or said on the TV news .... So I live in total ignorance, unless I learn something from someone else, and then I dont fully believe them cause it could be just hearsay. Tis a very peaceful existence to only have to worry about the here and now and what affects me personally within the boundaries of my property..... Seems the only real concerns I have are about things like Slugs, Snails, the Wild Birds, and the Hedgehogs..... .. oh and of course there is another pest who sometimes finds its way into the roof and then chews holes to get out again .... forgotten what its called, looks like a large rodent...Otherwise life is rather blissful to be ignorant....
