Serenity1971: I'm always up for being adventurous and exploring things; new or old. I've been known to rock the boat on many occasions and have even tipped it over a few times.

There's too much to life and I enjoy living it. There's 2 great sayings that I absolutely love; Yesterday is gone, tomorrow is not promised, today is a gift that's why we call it the present! If you've got one foot in yesterday and one foot in tomorrow, then you're pissing all over today!

We can only control today in the now. Great post Serene one. I would say that I don't mind about believing in tomorrow, if aligning myself with tomorrow makes me happy today.

Aries01: it's about having the courage to be yourself... like really be urself and not feel the pressure to conform.. it takes alot of courage... its easy to get swept up and feel the pressure to conform.. even such things as morality... there is nothing at all wrong with having principles but soo many people would be afraid to express their views nowadays.. for fear of not fitting in.... sad I think ... this is precisely why I love quirky, slightly odd people

I like what I read here....thumbs up thumbs up The worst thing to do is to be what they want you to be...I have more to say about this, but I am on the phone right now.

I don't know how to explain myself really, I am a fighter tho, I have beat high blood pressure- don't need meds anymore. I beat diabetes- don't need meds anymore. I beat heart disease had stent put in,but keep on a smoking, no lung cancer runs in the family so I am sure I am safe with that. The heart disease is from what I ate and my body producing cholestrol, that one is out next, I am working on it, just watch.
I keep on getting my heart broken but I keep on a trying, I guess I am happy with being me , I do have fears, but not of having to fit in. cheering Just looking for real love, If I find it great, if not God's got him waiting for me when I finally get there. grin

I've had a sweatshirt for 20 years that I've kept simply for the poem on it. I wish I could find it. If I do, I'll post it. However, the main point is the last line...

As you know HL I'm all for honesty and sometimes it can be brutal honesty. I don't hold back on anything.

Once my shoulder is fully healed and I find out about my knee...Nothing is going to hold me back. There's too much to life and I enjoy living it. Serenity... Cute saying and truelaugh

I am curious... you have mentioned somewhere that you are taking paranormal classes, I believe it was. Could you please explain here, ways that you have learned to go Beyond the Limit, thru these classes? I would like you to share a testimony of this if possible. Such as reaching into other dimensions, telepathy or anything you have experienced.

The paranormal meetings are wonderful. We have people that are at different levels. There are some that are curious and want to learn. Others that know they have certain "gifts" and want to learn to become more aware. Then there are those of us that are "seasoned veterans" that use our "gifts" know how to use them, are ready willing and able to help others and we learn even more ourselves.

I kind of touched on telekinetics a little in the "Magic and Magick" thread that I did. In telepathy some people are more apt to be transmitters than receivers and vice versa. Those that do both are on a higher level and have learned to be open to both sides of it. We all have the ability to transmit and/or receive but it's a matter of practicing such. Sometimes we have connections with certain people friends or loved ones and we seem to know when something is going on with them even though we haven't spoken to them, so we call them up and talk to them because we're wondering what's going on. 9 times out of 10, we sensed that they were transmitting to us because they need us at that time, but they weren't able to call us yet to tell us.

How many times have you answered the phone and it was someone that you were thinking about?

Mothers and daughters always seem to have that link to each other. For example with me and my mom. When I found out I was pregnant with my daughter. I called my mom and asked her if she was sitting down and she said yes and I told her that I had something to tell her. She blurted out that she knew that I was pregnant. I asked her how she knew, and she told me that she had a dream about it and felt it but she was waiting for me to call her and actually tell her. Things like that happen all the time with us, because we have an open connection between us. We don't even have to pick up the phone to know when something has happened or that one of us is upset about something or not feeling well.

I have to say that the one thing I've learned more about was about astral travel. I have done it a few times in my sleep, more so when I am completely relaxed and able to let go of all the things going on in my life at that time. I have also found that I tend to do it more when I'm sick, which I attribute to trying to figure out how to heal myself or not wanting to feel the physical pain that my body is in. I learned how to do it on command, but I don't use it often. The best way I can describe it is floating and exploring other astral planes but theres a string attached, it's kinda like a silver spider web type string. Anyone who has experienced this knows what it looks like and I think that's the best way I can describe it. The string seems to connect our astral body (soul, spirit) to our human form. It's an exhilarating experience, but it can also be exhausting. Anyone can also do this if they are open and can allow themselves to let go of themselves and completely relax.

There's many other things that I've experienced but it would end up being a book by the time I'm done. laugh

Great examples here Serenity!
I would say that you definitely go Beyond The Limit.
This is why I wanted you to share here, so people will understand what I am trying to get across in this thread.

They say that most people only use 1/3 of their brain, that there is so much more that we have ability to do. People are so satisfied at remaining at a level which is "hum drum". I am looking for those who have made a choice to go Beyond the Norm, to use more of the Power which resides within us.

With what you have shared here, perhaps some will relate to similar experiences and be encouraged to reflect on these things and go a step beyond.

Thank you!

I'm not sure it's so much that people are satisfied with "hum drum", I believe it's more due to fear of the unknown or programmed fears of it not being good or ok to allow these things to happen.

Every single one of us has had a psychic experience at one point or another in our lives, whether people admit to it or not is a different story. (fear of persecution).
