foreveryoung1: thinking of getting a little cart and harnessing Ethan up, use dog power, Newfoundlands deliver the Christmas post in Newfoundland.

We have no fuel at all, and some of the supermarkets and other shops have shut.

Just been to the shops, no bread, bought bread flour and yeast, will make my own, allowed €10 of petrol, but that has gone from €1.10 a litre yesterday(when there was none) to €1.229 today, who has been hoarding the fuel stocks then?, because there has been no delivery.

The strikers are threatening a 40 day strike and this is only day 3

Repsol certainly have, perhaps we should boycot them.

This wasn't a Repsol garage, but no one will boycott any garage here at the moment, the time for that will come when the strike is over.cheering

Ah, what a great idea! Most dogs love to work! A Newfoundland could tug quite a load, I'm sure. What my Mini Schnauzer could tug is a different story... perhaps a tiny cart filled with a pack of kitchen rolls, or similar... hm. Actually, she's pretty strong - but also strong-willed.

I don't know what the land tugging record is, but in the water its seventeen large men in a rowing boat, so he could easily pull me to the shops in a little 'dog-cart', if we had anything in the shops worth going to collect that is.
