I myself am oldest of 4.... there are 10 years between me and the next one and 20 years between me and the youngest... supposedly if there is a difference of 10 or more years... its more like being an only child.. I have found this to be true for me. dunno

alabamabebe: Most of the oldest child fits my older sister, she was definitely the boss of us. But the youngest doesn't even come close to my little sister. She has this sour bitter attitude most of the time, you'd think looking at her that she's older than any of us.

Thats strange Bev becasue I would say my older brother is the bitter and total opposite of my sister and myself.dunno

Portiea: I am only two years younger...Why it is upsetting is that you go through your whole life with people trying to put labels on you as to who and what you are....I think these types of studies are harmful...not just to me..They are not well thought out...they are not scientific, and they are limiting.....
Like I said, there are any number of reasons, that one for instance was just what I remembered cause it pertained to me. Nobody's saying you have to be the cheerful, fun-loving, optimistic, playful and adventurous younger child if you don't want to be.

thumbs up I mean seriously you can only really think about these studies. They don't really impact my life.

Me and my sister to this day banter with each other..........'oh you're the baby' and she will say 'Middle child syndrome' etc. All in fun with us.

this is an attempt to be mean because i expressed an opinion....if you read my posts here, you would know that i am playful...and fun loving..what I don't think is fun is trying to hurt and insult people...as far as adventurous...i live a life that is nothing but adventure living around the world....but the point is that i don't think it is right to limit people in any way based on criteria that is no more logical or scientific than astrology...why on earth do people want to persecute someone for expressing an opinion???

I personally think you need to take a bit of time out and read back throught the thread Portiea. It seems to me like you are looking to be argumentative for no apparent reason other than to be. It's really not fair on people that would like to express their opinion with a sense of humour about it.

Who is trying to limit anyone? I don't believe in astology either, but it's kinda fun sometimes to look at. Nobody says I have to act like a pisces all the time. Though I do love the water. grin

it goes back to the whole profile arguments we were having on the forums a few weeks back. some were saying its being judgmental. I say its profiling... the police do it to help them find criminals.... yes there is some give and take to it.. but it IS more accurate than astrology and I CAN say that learning HOW to profile people at an early age has saved my life on more than a few occasions! do the profiles always fit? NO. but its a place to start. and I do agree... your being a tad bit touchy tonight.... so I am asking you.... PLEASE take a time out... go outside get some fresh air.... hug

Yep, that's me, but like Portia said I'm also the strongest and most independent.

(Comes from spending the first six years of my life as a scientific experiment...two older brothers)
