i agree that is what i told my brother down in oklahoma that is what he should buy is a locked gas cap, cause they are stealing gas down there .

the thing about motion lights, if youdo not come out to investigate, those that want to take from you will not even thank you later for use of the light.

BEWARE about putting a locking gas cap on your car!
I know of cases where the gas theives got peeved about that so they just ram an ice-pick into the bottom of your gas tank and steal your gas that way. Then you will be complete out of gas because what they don't steal will run out onto the ground (possibly causing a fire hazard too!).
Also you will then be up for a huge bill having your gas tank repaired or replaced. So don't feel too safe about putting a locking gas cap on your car in an area where you know gas theives are active, you could just upset the theives and spark them into to do nastier things. Sad but true.
The car alarm is a much better approach. That will send them running real quick.

My sister has a neighbor that was having problems with some kids that live by him stealing his gas. LOL...He left a gas can out to bait them and put sugar in it. He said they went for the bait and he heard their 4 wheeler going pretty good and then not..lol Says he has had no problem since..lol

That might work....but these people are so mean....they would return the favor unto me.....I do not have very good neighbors....perhaps only one in my opinion on my whole street....quit a few are mentally challenged from various reasons.....and I don't mean that all people are bad....just the barrel I am in......at the moment.....
