alex, I don't know of anyone who has gone to another country illegally, but I do know of one who did it LEGALLY. Cost over $30,000 overall, which was PAID. If she couldn't afford it, oh well, would have just had to stay here. Simple as that. Why don't other people get that concept????? As AZ was trying to point out, the ILLEGAL immigrants who STEAL (don't even get me started on the lengthy list of additional, incredibly heinous crimes they also commit) what WE have WORKED to build.

Got to agree with this the DEMs used to be for the poorer people but now most are wanting to help all and mostly the people who don't even try to help themselves just handouts to everyone without having a real way of paying for it except by raising taxes on all thing more poor people use CIGS. beer, groceries will skyrocket and that .07 tax will be raise alot in order to pay for free everything and they will take away peoples indivdual rights to make it group right they will tell you how to raise your children not to mention the selling of of sovernty mis spelled.. there will be less morals no right and wrong cause it could hurt someone feelings, everything will be gray and acceptable like taking GOD out of everything. the most money I've ever made in a year was 21,000 dollars so I would want someone that would help poorer people in the whitehouse but I don't want handouts give to people who are here illegally or that don't at least make an effort to do for themselves

in the 2006 when it was posted the census of ilegal workers in the states (by profesion) there was also several articles of american living ilegal in mexico
by the way, one of those americans living ilegaly abroad was my own dad, same person that complains about ilegals here
but the sad is, for my dad, every one that is not american born he is ilegal in the states, i am the only exception to his rule
not talking about my dad, but the rest of americans that i know (i know them in person) not only are ilegally living in the country, but they are ilegally working too (the only exception is the diplimatic corp)
what can you do? nothing, just stop the double standart

Uh, close enough for me, I have no interest in playing word games to try to skew the issue. Bottom line, they come here illegally, which makes them criminals. Staying makes them immigrants, and adds to the original crime of sneaking in. NO way around the fact that they never should have stepped foot on US soil in the first place.

Perhaps those that can pull of the ID theft well enough to have someone else's SS# to get a job with, which means the person with that number is thought to have earned that income, and is taxed for it. Guess how much they appreciate the bill from the IRS? The rest, work under the table, for family and those who are willing to hire illegally.

And you can read all the scams used to get around paying ANYTHING TO ANYONE, except what they pocket themselves and what they send back to their home countries. Sorry, but they do NOT pay in anything close to what some try to make it look. Check out the REAL facts and numbers, not those that are skewed like the numbers on rehab centers when they try to pump people for more donations.

I DO BLAME THEM FOR NOT GOING BACK TO WHERE THEY CAME FROM. Prove a job was offered, and that they did what they were supposed to, then have that company pay for the ticket back. Would be willing to bet that the courts would find in favor of the worker just to get rid of them.
