Munson is good, you can choose a site with or without hookups. Fishing, canoes, swimming, tubing.

Some on the beach are nice too.

Lone Oaks in Canaan, Connecticut. It is a campground here in the foot of the Berkshire hills that offers heavy woods camping with no utilities, and also open field with hookups. There is over 1000 sites I believe, they have pond swimming, fishing, and 2 pools also, they have outdoor movies played for the family on a 40' by 40' outdoor screen (at night), they also offer a campground nightclub for the campers without kids!! They have bands for dancing weekly at the nightclub also. Other area attractions near Lone Oaks is The Great Barrington Brewery, dinner and brews in a rustic, remodled farm. Yankee Candle is also near by. Mowhawk Mountain in Cornwall Connecticut has a veiwing tower at the top where you can see New York and Massachusetts. Steam train rides through the berkshires, covered bridges, many more things here, too many to mention.
