Watched the movie Bucket List the other day...got to thinking...
We all do so much worrying about when and where and how we are going to find the love of our lives, but do we take time to consider all the things on our list of "to do" before we kick the bucket?
Good movie - I agree - we all could use a second look at our lives. Reminds me of Randy Pausch's - Last Lecture - on you tube - in case anyone hasn't seen it.
A very good friend of mine, who keeps a public secret journal on here, says that you must visualize what you want...don't loose that thought...meditate on it...pray on it...and it will be yours!!!
I have begun to do this with my bucket list...right down to Santa's lap...
Remember that our lives are only each day that we've been blessed with when we wake up in the morning ....... accomplish your dreams for today - for truly that's all we can count on enjoying.
I myself almost died twice in the same year...that was in 2001. I try everyday not to take anything for granted. I laugh every chance I get, cry every chance I get, and love every chance I get. The list I have made just guides me through...in the event that I get hung up on lost love, or lost fortune, I can always see that there is something to do, that will aid in making my life complete!!!

my bucketlist 1) I would like to have enough money to cover the cost of my burial, and for my daughter to not have to work as hard, or have a life as rough as mine has been, with that said I don't want her set for life or not fail at things sometimes, I want her to be grounded and realize that worldly things are only objects and it people that are important, and I' hope that she'd understand that all the sacrifices I make each day is all for her so that she can have a better tomorrow.
2) I would like to live long enough to see my daughter grow into a respectful and responsible adult, and know that when I'm gone that she has learned enough about life to handle it on her own.
3) I would like to know on my death bed, that I became a better person as time went on, but wise enough to know that I only got that way by learning from my mistakes.
4)well that's it I guess I'd like to see many places in my time but those are the only important ones to me...
