Gas has fallen 5.6 percent since hitting an-all time high above $4 a gallon on July 17, but hasn't kept up with oil's steep descent.
Don't you think they have ripped us off for long enough? Shouldn't the pump price reflect such a dramatic descent? They sure didn't waste any time raising the prices!!!
I guess that's how they toy with us, slowly drop prices when oil falls, raise prices overnight when it rises. They can't use a on their logo so it's the next best thing.

I got gas today. $3.50 a gallon. 2 weeks ago it was $4.20.

y---es, oil just went down again ,as we speak $US 120.81 a barrel
It's down to $3.97 in Cottonwood and was about $4.30 a couple of weeks ago. On my way up through Oregon I paid $4.20 and on the way back found a place for $3.99.
you guys don't know how the refiners work. They buy oil in advance for a price they "forcast" (a fancy word for "guess") it will be in the future. Right now they are cracking crude from oil they bought when the price was much higher and going up. Until that supply is used up the price at the pump will not drop as fast as the price of crude oil. Gas always lags behind oil, always, going up or down.
