Now theres one school of thought which believes that the male gender in nature was created to be more attractive in appearance. Be it animals or humans the male in the species is apparently the more attractive gender.
So .. peoples .. ( men and women ) pls .. what do u think defines beauty for a Man ?
I mean if u say a guy is handsome , what parameters are u considering ?

If you are talking physical beauty there is a certain symmetry in features and form that would cause certain men to be physically handsome.
I personally like the difference between men and women the contrasts in our physicality and in the way we think makes life more interesting.
Men who have a sense of humor, who are protective to some degree. There is something really attractive about a man who you know would lay down his life for his family.
Nice eyes and a nice hiney doesn't hurt either lol. JMO

I agree. I am somehow very fascinated by eye color too ( not grey eyes though )

In our enlightened times intangibles have replaced much of the requirements for beauty. Speaking purely on a physical plane, are women as attracted by symetry as a man is? Do mathematical equations figure into this context as they do for a man (i.e. the overplayed 36-24-36 ideology)? What properties are more desired physically, i.e. arms, legs, neck, shoulders, hands, feet, stomach, etc...? Does a man's plumage (hair) have any bearing still?
To what degree can the physical be overcome by the intangibles? (For example a thin or thick man being attractive for his smile, eyes compassion, integrity etc...)
Just curious as to the degree of attraction presented to the eyes of a woman, from the perspective of a woman.
I realize that there are as many ideals here as there are women but is there any sort of generalization that is an undercurrent to their physical desires?
hello guys.... A friend of mine got a completely different way of looking to a guy..... Believe it or not she defines the guy's hotness through his neck...... Is it true that u consider the neck as a source of attraction or my friend is just being weird..........

that, and basically - masculinity in everything, so that i can feel like a little lady next to him (all of my 5'10 ) As for any details, if he was a dog he'd be scrutinized and measured for sure, but with people i'm not worried.

I think being non-argumentative is cool too ( its like leave that job for me )

yup .. subtle effect by their presence .. no overpowering dominance though.

Well I think people respond to symmetry in both men and women maybe even on a subconscious level. I would think that the degree of symmetry is a subjective thing.
I don't know what the mathematical equation for faces is but I do know subjectively if I am not attracted to someone's face at all then I won't be attracted to them period even if they have a nice body. As for other women who knows As there might be an ideal body type for women men who are tall, have broad shoulders and narrow hips are perceived as most attractive or that has seemed to be the norm.
Bald men can be beautiful depends on the man's face and bearing I would think. Again subjective.
As far as intangibles overtaking the physical sometimes there is so much chemistry between people that the physical quickly becomes unimportant and part of the whole. It comes down to the whole package at least for me. If a man is physically beautiful but doesn't care for others then the physical beauty soon is forgotten in light of who he is.
