One of the greatest achievements of mankind was the relation of art to desire. Most if not all things that have captured our minds existed long before we decided to capture the essence of beauty. Once we had the elegant grace of a woman to haunt our mind's eye, we were suddenly made aware of all in nature that has even the remotest resemblance to her ephemeral charms. And have sought ever since to steal a glimpse of that in everything we perceive.

* Medical research money would be spent on birth control methods for men.
* Women with cold hands would give men prostate exams.
* Baby-sitting, doing dishes and making beds would be considered "Macho".
* The hem of men's pants would go up or down depending on the economy.
* Men would be forced to purchase overpriced clothes every season.
* Minnie Mouse would get equal billing with Mickey.
* The ideal weight standard would increase by 40 pounds for women.
* Overweight men would be encouraged to wear girdles.
* PMS would be a legitimate defense in court.
* Men would come with papers showing their true identity, marital and employment status, if they live with their mother, and whether they have had their shots.
* Shopping would be considered an aerobic activity.
* Men would get reputations for sleeping around.
* "Ms Magazine" would have an annual swimsuit issue featuring scantily clad males.
* Men who designed women's shoes would be forced to wear them.
* Men would not be allowed to eat gas-producing foods within two hours of bedtime.
* Men would be as attentive AFTER marriage as they were before.
* Men would be secretaries for female bosses, working twice as hard for no credit.
* Little girls would read "Snow White and the Seven Hunks".
* Men would earn 70 cents for every dollar women make.
* Men would bring drinks, chips and dip to women watching soap operas.
* Men would HAVE to get Playboy for the articles, because there would be no pictures.
* Men would be judged entirely by their looks, women by their accomplishments.
* Men would sit around and wonder what WE are thinking.
* Men would pay as much attention to their women as their cars.
* All toilet seats would be nailed down.
* Men would work on relationships as much as they work on their careers.
* TV news segments on sports would never run longer than one minute.
* All men would be forced to spend one month in a PMS simulator.
* Men would have their wedding rings permanently attached so they can't pretend to be single.
* During mid-life crisis, men would get hot-flashes and women would date 19 year old boys.

Yes it does...I just get keyed sometimes and it doesn't work....
Imagine a woman who believes it is right and good she is a woman. A woman who honors her experience and tells her stories.
Imagine a woman who believes she is good. A woman who trusts and respects herself. Who listens to her needs and desires and meets them with tenderness and grace.
Imagine a woman who has acknowledged the past's influence on the present. A woman who has walked through her past. Who has healed into the present.
Imagine a woman who authors her own life. A woman who exerts, initiates and moves on her own behalf. Who refuses to surrender except to her truest self and her wisest voice.
Imagine a woman in love with her own body. A woman who believes her body is enough, just as it is. Who celebrates her body and its rhythms and cycles as an exquisite resource.
Imagine a woman who celebrates the accumulation of her years and her wisdom. Who refuses to use precious energy disguising the changes in her body and life.
Imagine a woman who values the women in her life. A woman who sits in circles of women. Who is reminded of the truth about herself when she forgets.
Claayer: Wooooo thankyou for all of those Although I am still sniffing the smelling salts from Weeya's post
::gets back up:::
I am in those rare wont mince words mood.
Thanks to all of you who posted such good stuff and the little things for me.
And one thing I ought to add :
A Man is the man he is ; so charming by the virtues he posesses which are obvious by his behavior , thoughts and mannerisms.
Its something that shows through WITHOUT having to ever say. Its that unexplicable charm and impressive demeanor which is spoken thro' the eyes. Its obvious.
And a Man is impressive even when he is vulnerable, emotional , sad , hurt and crying BUT when exhibited with the grace that comes with being human.

...who knows where she's going
and will keep on until she gets there;
who knows not only what she wants from life
but what she has to offer in return...
HERE'S TO THE WOMAN
who is loyal to family and friends,
who expects no more from others
than she is willing to give;
HERE'S TO THE WOMAN
who guides and inspires
not by quoting others philosophies but by living her own good example;
who accepts both victories and disappointments with the same grace,
and who can rise above life's challenges and move on...
HERE'S TO THE WOMAN
who gives the gifts of her thoughtfulness,
who shows her caring with a word of support,
her understanding with a smile;
a woman who brings joy to others
just by being herself...
