Not all of California would fall off, only that part that's west of the San Andres....which means NorCal could then become the State of Jefferson...lol

Sommerauer71: Hey, Indy, I am all about humour, I love the Americans laughing at us, most of Europe do, lets face it, many countries laugh at others all the time...
I could write a list of humour about the Brits and we love it...
One thing to be said for the Brits, we have a sharp humour...
Island mentality, America is a fine country, with wonderful people, smart intelligent people, I am not procrastinating, however, before they declare that they are the finest nation in the world, they should check with the rest of the world first....
I find people get offended by criticism because they don't realize that most are criticizing the government not the people American people themselves...I enjoy living here also and the people are great..but I also will the first one to stand up and criticize my government...and admit that they can be idiots most of the time...I guess I don't get the concept of why others don't...If someone points out to me something that my government has done wrong...I'll be the first to agree with them because I know they are not criticizing me in a personal way...yet it seems that people can get so defensive about the criticism of their governments..it's almost scary...

To a degree, it's like criticizing family. It's fine when I do it....but I may not want a "stranger" doing it.

Well, all the movies show that it can be done with a nuke buried deep enough....
I've never been worried about it & I've lived here the majority of my life....had more chance of a volcano erupting while I lived in Hawaii than I do of that major of an earthquake here in CA.
We had some things going on today, there was a pretty big ceremony at the Veteran's Flag (the Flag is HUGE)...and there were a couple people riding their horses in a field next to the freeway carrying US Flags (drill team style). There's something else going on tonight at one of the firestations.

Make sense?
Yes it makes sense...but you also have to remember that with world politics and economies every country's government is open to criticism...and it's not that way here...at least I have seen...maybe that's why I don't get it!!!!

America and the world (especially all the movie and tv enthusiasts) would be seriously crippled if California sunk in to the Pacific....
Would we lose Rosie O'Donnell?
