I am only responsible for my own words and actions. Nothing anyone does can make me see this differently. They are responsible for their words and actions as well. Occasionally words are said and little things are done that are responses to other things than what lie at the core of the issue, but those should be dealt with as separate from the issue at hand. A bad day at work can jade your mind and this has no bearing on any person who is not directly responsible for whatever it was that happened. We tend to complicate things too much and hold all of those feelings inside, so that when we do let some of it out, too much that is irrelevant also slips out. Guilt is a tool of those who have erred to cover their own tracks, and is not anything I desire in my life now or ever. Of course everyone makes mistakes just as long as they are not continuous or deliberate they will be forgiven.

I am a free spirit like; "please don't try to fence me in" I like to find someone who is secure in himself, has no need to prove himself and has thus no need to control someone else. Someone who has no need to be right all the time, nor to win every argument. Someone who does not keep bringing up what I said, did, or whatever, ions ago. When something has been delt with, it is to be thrown in the ocean where a sign is saying; "No fishing allowed" Part of my profile.

mylifewithu: Guilt trips are a part manipulation games, I did a very good thread on Manipulation recently and if you learn all of the symptoms and game plans you will learn about this game. Guilt trips are to weaken you, or to manipulate you into feeling what the manipulator wants you to feel. Usually there's more than a guilt trip going on. But I have been around a few that do just that one. It is a way of knocking others down, so that one doing it, can feel better about their own self and they enjoy hurting others with it. There are different levels some are really mean with it and some are just doing minor amount but it all boils down to controlling someone or hurting them. And its all about manipulation to get what ever they will get out of it. Thats the best I can tell you about it.
Still I say this is what the bad ones are about, it's about hurting someone else. Make them feel bigger etc.
I'm a Buddhist now. There's no guilt in buddhism. Only an awareness of consequence. I acknowledge my mistakes, but you can't make me regret the fact that I'm imperfect and a work in progress. I would never intentionally hurt someone, so I have nothing to feel guilty about. If sorry doesn't work, you're the one with a problem, not me.
Galactic_bodhi: I was born Catholic so I know guilt.

I am of No religion, I also don't intentionally hurt anyone. I have learned you want to find love , love yourself first. I see my own mistakes, I correct them and or apolijize and learn from it. I dont send people on guilt trips or manipulate them in any way. I will find love again , that I do know. Cause I am a person that people are easily able to approach. As far as manipulators and other games likes the guilt trip, they can take it on down the road cause I don't play that crap.

Ah, shucks. You just need to find the right kind of manipulator. LMT's are nice
