"To Kiss Afar"To Brush the soft and tender skin,
your lovely face is sleeping still.
My hand, it sweeps your hair away
I kiss your forehead lightly saying;
"Ah the day is almost here, just sleep a little,
just some more. Take that rest for as you wake,
we'll run like winds across the floor. We'll sing!
we'll dance, we'll shake the sun with lyrics and
all songs unsung. We have so much my Lovely Dear"
The window brightens and your eyes,
so lovely as they do arrive
to greet the day and then recall,
was that the man, the one I saw.
Shall this one day change all the rest?
Will I once recieve this strangers kiss?
Then the smile I see afar, it rises from your loving heart.
The smile that whispers back to me, "Just Love me always and we'll be,
we'll be the things and so much more, we really have so much in store!"
I listen in the quiet night,
and as the evening crosses light
I hear and see within my mind
a comfort that was once far gone.
The words you speak, they sooth my soul
I sleep and dream of all we are
I curl up and seek the day
that morning light to see your face

You're welcome.. one day we will find it, or it will find us, which ever comes first.. I often wonder if women really know what some of us men would go through and do for the one we love, the drive and determination we would have to make the impossible possible, doing whatever it takes, all because we love them..
