Not that I believe that CS has/holds any bearing on employment status or possibilities, but no, not worried in the least.

lol ok ty mychelle well my boss alredy fierd me 2 yers back for inosent absenteaisum and it went to arbetrashon and i wone my job back and bean back for 1 year and a haff i hardly think that he wold get the cuhoneys to oo it againe speshily with the minuewt isuews he wold find in hear and im in a unuin job and you have humin rites as well as other orgenizashons in ower goverment that wold take cear of things or maybe not ? lol

If a company that wants to hire you, goes on a single site and uses that as information ........ I do not feel it is right.
If Connecting Singles is the company that you have applied to work for, that is a different situation. JMHO, they might need to know what your reaction is to certain situations, or comments.

I have heard of info taken from another social site to determine if the person drink and do other things, and that it may actually go against the person.

I take issue with a company that goes on a social site to spy on a potential employee. Just because someone gives a certain impression on a social site, it does not mean they are like that in real life.
I'm still confused as to a company actually ... going on a social site... to spy on an employee.... if that is true, what has the work place world come to?

This is beyond BIZARRE!!! (jmho).... but we have rights and the very fact that any company is cruising the internet, filtering through what individuals are saying on any given site????? Yes, I do realize that once we have posted something, it essentially becomes public domain, but....
I have to say that any business or company who practices the aforementioned would not even have my interest as a potential employee - in other words; WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT TO WORK FOR THEM???? I mean, they have the time and mentality to spy on people? Do they follow people to restaurants and grocery stores to see what they eat and drink? Somehow I doubt it....But, I do wonder if someone shared this little tidbit with you to deter you from this and other site???? Is that possible?

It's not possible that someone would try to deter me from this site because this is something that I heard of recently.

If my potential boss is on CS then i would imagine he/she is in the same boat as I (either single and looking or just here for the forums) so can't say i'd be too concerned there....
