Hi Wikked. I'd hate to admit my compulsions, but yours sounds like a case of OCD, treatable with Prozac, among others. Good Luck.

I don't happen to have one but I know some about them. To try to slow it down some, make a contract with yourself (sounds weird but it works) that for say, just for example sake, 2 weeks I will cut one part of this out. Then in 2 weeks cut another out that is beyond what would be considered "normal". Or you can cut it down to so many times a week or so many hours or whatever, lots of variations there. Slowly removing yourself from the behavior and as a reward for sticking with your contract, give yourself a treat, be it a hot bubble bath, movie, dinner out, whatever. Whatever makes you feel like your doing something just for YOU. When the time is up for each contract (make the time something you feel you can live with without pushing yourself TOO hard) make another to cut it back until it's where you feel is livable, not overdoing it and not under-doing it.

Hope that helps some. It's not an easy thing to deal with, it's not just "because you want to" it's actually a disease so don't beat yourself up for it either, k? And best wishes, hope you can get a handle on it. hug

how's the weather? Can you go outside for a short walk? Distraction of some sort may help too.

Beuty is not everything you know, there needs to be compatability as well. And I´m a dirty mongler.
If you can leave a couple of dirty pizza plates on the counter for a week or so, until they turn green, then
