i used to be the same way wikked.would even get upin the middle of the night if i knew something was dirty.since i have a job cleaning my urge to do it at home has all but disapeared.also having a 5 yr old in the house ,i would be exhausted if i followed him around with a vacuum all day . try and walk instead when you get the urge.Or better yet, walk down the street and pick up some litter. You'll beautify the neighorhood and get excersise too
Hey Wikked, I was wondering just how compulsivly clean are you? I personally admire the trait. However, I saw a T.V. program where a man's wife was so compulsively clean that hubby and the youngsters felt like they were imprisoned at home. He said they were forbidden to touch anything in the house without washing hands first. He said there closet was not only organized according to type of clothes, but arranged by color, and alphabetized according to brand labels
No love i'm not that bad...i just cannot stand to have anything not in its rightful place..and i certainly do not foist my habits off on anyone...they can do what is normal for them...I am the same in my workplace as well...i have to have everything neat and in order to be able to function there.... I know i'm not ready to be put away in some rubber room yet though, because the inside of my car is as if a bomb went off...and i have no idea why i have no particular desire to clean that!!
