Do you think that there are men out there who consciously/subconsciously date you, not because its a big "love affair", but because you care and look after them like their mother did?....but still maintain they are "in love" with you?
What would be the signs that would indicate this to you?

Yes....but I am nobody's mother except my children's...so they won't be dating me for that reason!!!!!
When they expect you to look after them and take you for granted...but they do nothing to look after you or make sure your needs are met...they are only worried about their own...and of course they would say they are in love with you because they don't want to lose a good thing...Heaven forbid if they have to be alone and look after themselves!!!!!!!!

I had one of those. He always ate at my house, didn't even like to shower when he spent the night......he never invited me to his house, always had an excuse. There was also this huge bill i lent him 500euros for, only, he used the money to 'help out a friend who needed it more, at the time'. Funny, he had all these friends (including a female who would call him at midnight), who 'couldn't' help him when he needed the money. Well, this relationship lasted only a month.
......right after i demanded he give my money back.
