Sometimes, the sign in page won't even show - says it has found site, but waiting reply??

Then when I do get to sign in page and I write my user and pass word - Again it is ages in trying to retrieve the page!! dunno

Could be a couple of things, first is your firewall may have decided to block it, that can happen especially if its NORTON, or the actual program may have got damaged, corrupted files etc, in which case you need to reload a fresh copy.

Turn off your pc, restart when all up and running try switching off the firewall and then try accessing yahoo, if it works switch on the firewall, if not, switch on the firewalllaugh you need to protect yourself, a few mins without the firewall is ok but not for too long.
iif the above has not fixed it try plan b reinstall

Sorry to dive in on your advice mate, but if I can make a suggestion.. Before uninstalling and re-installing anything it may be beneficial to first run a registry clean up.. SHould fix any broken files etc...

Good point, but Yahoo messenger has a habit of corrupting files in the system32 folder. and I was not sure if JoJo had a reg cleaner and/or knew how to use it, I try the easy things first and then go down from therelaugh laugh

If its that slow its poss its down to your server, your IP company may well be carrying out maintenance and so have transferred to an older server while they work on the faster one, thats quite common.
