Better to be loved or to love?
I think to love someone and not be loved back could create bitterness within you, while being loved even when not loving them back will give you harmony and in prolonged sense making you able to love back.
So... if any choice, I choose "be loved" in front of "to love", since I think it will make me more open for love.
I talk love in general sense, love of friends, kin and spouse.
