Angel_Diva: re read what u put in op reply.......u say i have a shallow view...not true i just dont believe in looking back but forward....

I say that the view that life is fatalistic is shallow because it misses out too much of the real equation..you want to interpret that as me calling you shallow then go for it. I am really not so petty but what the heck.

I agree you have to deal with life any which way you can and in dealing with it you hopefully improve your metaphorical cards...and if you improve them, you, by necessity, change them. nuff saidhandshake

Seriously, given the choices I had, I don't think there is anything major I would change. I feel for the most part, I've made good choices. There are minor things I would change. Like my recent trip to Scotland. I would have went in June and not October, I would have waited until I had more spending money, I would have taken a train and not try and drive on the LH side of the road, that was pretty scary, too many round abouts. There was someone I hooked up with that I probably wouldn't have if given a second chance, and I probably would go with a friend, but with everything, there are learning lessons that help us grow. It really was a learning experience not only for the experience itself, but I learned some things about me.

May it be suggested by an onlooker at all the pseudo-intellectual dummy chucking and personal insults, veiled or blatant, that an even more appropriate answer mignt be seen if the combatants were to revert to the original question ?

You can change your life if you are not happy with it. You can move to another part or the island, another country, move overseas, across the Atlantic, change your career, marry rich, marry well, change your name, stop drinking , quit smoking, become a millionaire, own a restaurant, own a chateau ...anything you want and feel will make a better you. Absolutely Nothing is carved in stone. And yes, you are not dealing with the cards you were dealt with because you Ace it!

Don't make me laugh - That was just sarcasm - Not ME being serious - rolling on the floor laughing YES ?

FYI It is part of the british sense of humour and dare I say *Folk Law* for the people since the Oxbridge revolution of SATIRE in the late 1950's and early 60's against * authority* and it always applied in the services anyway.

RULE of Sod - after the revolution - If the perpetrator of such humour has a degree its SATIRE - BUT if not - It's either progressively - Rudeness, Sarcasm or Offensive according to the management level it's directed against.

Take your pick as to which one fits tongue devil devil devil

rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing Sence of hurmor. I heard that British people do not have a sence of humor. Take the Benny Hill Show, very, very dry. I heard the British are alwasy uptight and proper. I'm sure I have seen that in every movie. lol
