mine: Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Yard birds, Small Faces, Pink F.....& co. Sometimes, when I hear a specific song I can remember her and place, situation and circumstances. I feel nostalgia and pleasure for everything that happened with her and I think that if somebody offer to me that I can repeat it all I'll be ready to pay as much as he asks.
Do you have such memories?confused

There are definitely certain songs which, when I hear them, instantly take me back to a place and a time when I was with my husband or a former boyfriend or lover. But, the song that will make me most nostalic is Stevie Wonder's "I Just Called To Say I Love You", but not for the reason you might imagine.
That song came out when my oldest son was a toddler and for some reason, he loved that song! Whenever it would play on the radio, he would start rocking and dancing to it and would have a big grin on his face. We soon developed a routine...when it would play (or when I would put the cassette tape in to play it for him, once I bought it), I would scoop him up and we would dance together. It was "our song", you might say....me and my 3-year old son! We would dance and sing and each time we ended it with a kiss.
To this day, whenever I hear it, I picture my son in my arms, dancing in our living room, no care in the world, happy as could be.

I have certain memories attached to certain songs, yes. Some are poignant, some make me turn the radio to another station. laugh

Funny how you can't help but think of that person even after decades and other relationships. sigh grin

thumbs up Awesome. I used to dance around like that with my sons...but there's no particular song attached to those memories.
