Emily will be home soon. I've missed her today. We bought the Twilight book yesterday and are going to start reading it together tonight.
She called a bit ago and Gracie had 3 seizures, one after the other. The last one, she suddenly started screaming and crying, which is very unusual! But the doctor said to only bring her back when they last at least a minute and they're around 45 seconds. Em gets so scared every time it happens. My poor girl!

Have they not started that girl on antiseizure meds yet???? My ex had grand mal seizures often.She called a bit ago and Gracie had 3 seizures, one after the other. OMFG, I just realized that I was 31 when I started coming on CS...(Hence, the 31 on the end of Lonely) and...Gulp, I will be 35 In June....Wow, major depression now! lol.....

Thank you, Dawn. Gracie is my friends 2yo. Em is babysitting their 4 children - aged 8mo to 5yo. She was in the hospital the week before last and they ran every test and never found anything wrong.

No, they haven't. They aren't grand mal seizures. I don't know how they'd classify them. It's happened several times today. I'd imagine partly because of all the excitement. Poor little thing. Normally she's such a fireball.
The phone rang one day and it was Gracie. Now she's only 2, so we could barely figure out what she was saying. I called back and got her dad. He found her up in the kitchen cabinet hiding with the phone. My number was the last one that had been called and she hit redial.
She's been caught sneaking outside and climbing out windows. She's also climbed to the top shelf of the pantry and jsut hid there! She's a trip, that one!!!------ This thread is Archived ------

It's a petite seizure when not a grand mal. But that's the description my husband used on them. He had a very old brain injury, when he was a teenager he was hit by a train and in a coma for many months after. Has anybody been shaking that baby, that will do it too. Or has fallen and looked like minor injuries.
