I had to take up that piece of carpet. It was stained and frazzled.
Now it's a wood floor. I have a cushion in the spot. It is absorbent and can be picked up to wash out and dry. Sometimes the cat will sleep on the cushion , but for some strange reason he runs when I come into the room.

Funny story, I had a church meeting for the board at my home and the only guy that was there was the Pastor, after everyone had left and I was putting chairs back ect...............I walked into the guest bath and the toilet seat was up.Never picture my Pastor going.........ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
