Rumi, Hafiz?
All life has it's own problems, and death isn't the best solution.
I have to admit...this one has me stumped...either it's sooooo simple that I am just not seeing the answer right in front of me...orrrrrrrrrrrrr so profound and the answer hidden soooooooo deep that I just fail to grasp even the tail end of it.....
jpunk: No, you're wrong Dawn, life is not eternal and cannot exist without death
Death is certain, life is not
and u thint that u are right? ..u believe in birth and death..Like most people...but where have u been before u born?...U see the world outside of your body,,,through anymal.s senses...all science is based on anymal senses....limited to time, place..
All life has it's own problems, and death isn't the best solution.
Dear Sir,Glad to know that you know Rumi and Hafiz.Although I have started reading Masnavi Maulana Rum and he must would have threw light on this topic. However here I was referring to our native Punjabi Poet Buleh'e Shah. He wrote, " Bulaeh Shah Assan Marna Nahin Gor Pia Koi Hor Ra." Translation: 'Bulaeh Shah we are not going to die,the one you see in the grave is someone else'.

Well then he means that soul is eternal after leaving the body.
One of my Physics/Chemistry Professors said there is a certain point at which time reverses its self and runs back wards all the way back undoing everything that has been done. After reaching the begining, then it reverses again going forward redoing all that has previously been.
Back and forth like a yo-yo. So death is only temporary under these circumstances.
The big question is do things stay the same or do they change?
If so, I wanna know if we retain our memories and get a chance to not make the mistakes we did before?
Go figure. I really have much regard for this Professor, but this one topic is too far out for me.
