I know the symptom
The more you try to fight it the more you say yes. Be neuter...call him and ask what he wanted. Then on the phone say: "i can't...", tell him you're going to have holidays somewhere else, ask him to give you some time instead of telling him: "disappear!!!", tell him politely, with love that you need sometime. By doing so, you are doing yourself a favor and not treating him in a way that he may not deserve....

Thanks Cristina & Jampet. Very wise advice. Unfortunately, when I get around this guy, my tongue goes numb & all the things I want to say never come out. 
He has a power over me. I wasn't going to respond, but that didn't last long. Then, I was just being polite when he asked how my holidays were going & said nice, thank you. Then, he said whatcha doin? Well, that was the beginning of the end.....
