Kidgloves: Why do some guys on the dating sites arrange to meet and then do not show up? Guys that is mean and nasty you do not deserve to have a date.
They play their game well...and some women play the same game...I think it's just an ego trip myself...to see just how many they can hook and get to agree to meet them...and then the joke turns out to be on you for accepting.....things like this make it hard to decipher who is genuine on here and who is just playing to boost their own ego...leaving a trail of often times broken hearts behind them....

Once i've set a meeting with a paranoid guy who claimed to be a farmer kind. I've set a meeting at a garden if the whether was ok. I really liked him as a friend, he kept on saying he wasn't my type, i didn't really care, i insisted we meet just like that because he had been a true online friend.
Suddenly he started questioning why did i want to meet at a garden, which is a dangerous place (according to him), where people were usually mugged, that i was conspirating against him with his ex here on CS...and then he started sending me non-stop mails asking me to stop our friendship, telling me he knew i was on msn because i was on CS...
Before, he seemed normal!
Men can also find excuses not to have just a tea...

Isn't it funny!! I had a date with a woman from another site. I even called her from the place we were to meet and made sure she had the right directions. She never showed.

Been there, only the guy showed . . . . about 20 minutes late. I am such a stickler for timing and all. I have friends that I never make plans w/ at all because they can't be trusted to show up on time or at all.

I've had that happen several times in the past. So far it hasn't happened since I moved. I would only wait 30 minutes and then leave. I also wouldn't stay and have dinner by myself.....now if a guy ever pulls a no show I'd probably go ahead and have dinner by myself (I've done it enough now that it's not so weird).
I had one guy call me after I was driving home (after waiting 30 minutes in the waiting area right at the front door) trying to claim that he'd been there, gone through the restaurant, didn't see me & left. I asked him if he bothered to look and see who was waiting to be seated....he said no....I told him he'd walked right past me & didn't bother looking....he wanted me to come back.....I was pulling in my driveway at that point & told him nope.
