My cousin actually had a cat that was exactly like a dog... it followed her anywhere and even if the owner got or her kids (then age of 3 and 6) got rough on the poor cat, it would act like a dog, .. begging for more as you say... but yes, I agree that most cats would have been gone...

I like dogs, they're loyal whereas people might not be. You earn the respect of a dog, it'll stick with you through thick and thin. That's why I like dogs, plus, I'm allergic to cats.
