Holidaying Alone (26)

My daughter has just booked her first holiday with her mates. This leaves me for the first time looking at holidays for 1. There doesn't seem to be a great choice for single people who want a sun holiday unless you pay large supplements.

Can anyone recommend a site for travellers that's not going to cost fortune

argana hotel morocco stayed there a couple of time's and i think they have a few rooms that they dont charge single supplement and that means you'll probably meet people who are in the same boat as yourself

That is actually a great idea for Singles holiday !

I went to Majorca last September on my own I booked it through Budget Travel with no supplements for being alone. If you give one of their offices a call I used their Liffey St branch ( they didn't make me feel like a single saddo ) and see what they have on offer its not every resort and accomodation thats listed in their brochures and trying to get a price on their website seems to frighten the s**t out of it and you get quoted ridiculous prices.
The upside of travelling alone was they had over booked the apartments and as I was on my own ( probably less people to give out ) they relocated me to an aparthotel across the road I wasn't impressed it was 4 star but sure there was nothing I could do but sit back and relax and enjoy some pampering in the beauty spa and lounge by one of the 4 pools. It was tough but someone had to make the sacrifice.

There's a site for travellers just off the Naas Road. I'd say you'd get at least 3 caravans in there!

There is a tour operator that does specialized singles holidays, but the name escapes me, but if you google singles holidays.. you should find it that way.. I think I'm senile!!!!
