Is love an illusion, a biological fabrication for species survival ? I know what it feels like, and can identify rationally what may make up some of the emotions that I feel when in love. I know that love evolves with time spent with someone that you love. I think that there are different forms of love, or is it all the same, only with different intensities ? Love makes one healthier. Love will extend your life. I know that I miss it. Paws

I agree that there are different forms of love.

Infatuation, a very powerful emotion.

True love built over time and togetherness.

Love of a parent for a child.

All different but as Lennon said, it's all you need.

I want to drink the water from your lips.
I want to hear the movement of your soul.
I want to touch the sound of your heart.
I want to breath in your shadow.

Passion.

That is love.

I think love causes sleep deprivation.


The kind when you spend days and nights on end making love and just need to go home and sleep.

The kind when you drive for hours just to kiss the person good bye because they are leaving for six months.

The kind when you are up all night, when your child can't go to sleep or has a fever.



Love has no reason; it just is.....

Love is a word that is grossly misused. When people speak of the passion of love they really mean the passion of lust, let there be no doubt. I loved my mother with all my heart and soul, yet I did not have a passion of lust for her. Passion for lust has absolutely nothing at all to do with love at all.

You say that you miss love. But what do you really miss? Your love is in your heart. You still have all the love you ever had at any point in time. What you miss is someone to share your love with. Someone to share their love and passions with you.

Sharing is what it's all about. If you can genuinely share your emotions of love with another then you have shared with them the joy of love. If you can share their loving emotions then you have shared in their love. It's all about sharing. And of course if you both share the passions of lust then you have even more to share. Passions of lust are personal and intimate, so if you can share your passions of lust openly and freely with your partner they you have shared even more intimately.

Love is nothing without sharing. I am full of love, yet I suffer the agony of not having anyone to share it with.

All I seek is someone to share life with on the deepest emotional levels. If I find that I will have found love.

Love is surrender
Love should be tender

Love takes dedication
Love needs concentration

Love is hard work
Love shouldn't hurt

With so many fish in the sea
Can't just one love me???
