I do.

It takes me 30 minutes to walk to work, which I love on a beautiful day.

I do not use my car for short journeys, it wastes more fuel and where I can, I will use the train. Public transport is so good here, compared to the UK, where it is crap and expensive and I vowed I would never trains and buses again after living there, but here, it is clean, inexpensive and comfortable. Plus the infrastructure is here, we do not have that in the UK, too many people on that island.

In fact, I do not need a car, it gleams at me from the garage.

So, when I come and see you Weddie, I can get a train direct from Salzburg to Linz...

Do some work on the train and even have a glass of wine and go home again.

Bicycles, this reminds me of a funny story when I first moved here.

I bike to the supermarket.

I usually ask my landlady if she needs anything, back in 2007, when I first moved here, she gave me a small list of shopping that she needed.

At the top of the list was

2 dosen Zuckermais.

So, in my naiviety, I thought, she has mispelt the word 'dozen'

I had a rucksack, and piled 24 tins of sweetcorn in the trolley.

Then got out to my bike, and thought, how am I to get all this home.

So I called her and said, 'You knew I was on my bike, how am I supposed to tote all of these tins home.

I was greeted with howls of laughter.
