Sommerauer71: Us, we jump on the bed listening to Van Morrison and shout at each other, then he chases me with a pen and draws on me.

Ridiculous behaviour for adults.

I am questioning my own sanity.

We have done that too laugh more than once....

Sunday mornings are when I wake her up five times before she actually will wake up. The four first times she pull me down in bed instead. Very grown up actually

Then we throw pillows at the cat because he sits at the end of the bed staring at us. He run off but the dog catch him, makes him wet all over which he hates so he then retreat to the relative safety among the flying pillows, as they are at least dry.

Andreea do not work Sundays. it is supposed to be the resting day. So I work laugh

Cleaning, hanging laundry etc. But reading papers? Not very much, we use laptops I am afraid, and they do NOT enter the bed Sunday mornings cool

Mike, it all sounds wonderful, you write it so well, I like to read the bits about the cat and the poor thing having the pillows at him/her.

Sounds like a happy home, oh how I miss that.

I have a happy home, now, but with the children not here, it does make it feel empty and I am rambling around in this place, which is too big for me and I only use one room.

Then of course my cat died. I am not sure if you knew, Jack died, so that was a bit upsetting, I suddenley had this thought that every person was leaving me.

But then I thought, no, you just need a smaller place.

No, I did not know, sad to hear that, I love those little friends. I am happy to still have my girl around (my dog), she is now 13 in a month and that is 2 years more than her relatives ever got.

She is in good health, just a little tripping in the mornings to get the rear wheels in the right direction, but that is all. Appetite and play she have got for plenty, not just all the hours of the day.

To missed friends as someone posted before wine

I will watch them in full tomorrow, I fast forwarded a little now.

You really have the Cascaval there? It is made in Romania too, I like it on Ciabata bread with dried ham.

It looks great, and as I am a climber I think I could find a hill or two to try on.

When they grow old we know they had a good life but we know too that somehow they will never stay with us forever. Last year I though she had only a month or two left because of her breathing but now I have got used to it and she lives on happy as ever.

Every moment we are out walking we do things more than before as I know she will not be around so much longer.

Hard to miss a country that have 90 peaks around 2000 above the sea, but yes, it is a bit hidden in there.

I think the history angle together with the environmental approach is perfect, it will be flooded with visitors of the kind you like to have, those who do not just stay at the resorts all week but really get out and about in the country (spending their cash).

I will have a look at our Greece holiday, maybe we should turn slightly west instead smile

I would be happy if she gets 15, but I doubt it. She is a big dog and it gets harder on them.

Oh, well... she has been the best friend for so many years and I always knew she would pass on before me, but now, when we are near it is not fun to think of.

Bed time for me...

Good night to you, will perhaps pass by tomorrow.

Then he really is old. I love the Rottweilers, such lovely characters, it was my choice after Lioness, but for now we have decided to not get another dog for a while.

If we get a baby and need to stay home more, it will be high on the list.

Hola guapa!

I blame my cat for that, him being brought up by the dog now thinks he is forever a puppy. He sleeps on the floor, barks at the door and generally hate cats but love dogs
