Hey Lok.....was it The Four Mile Creek ? I only know this because that was the website I went to visit last night.
It may have been my fault the post was deleted. I did mention about the gift idea, just wanting to know if it was still going to go ahead...sorry ! I didn't even give it a thought

This event i organised was in no way used to advertise a place of business for personal gain or to give them free advertising or associated with another group. The $5 maximum gift idea was for all members , and was a completely anonymous affair.
Now to make matters worse.. i cant remember what club i had it organised for , so if someone can fill in the blank there for me ( so i can remember where it is ) i would be muchly apprecative. ( was relying on me re-reading the first post to jog my memory on where and when )

I had that happen to me too. Only rule I broke was upsetting some freaks.... but I'm not totally sure that's breaking a rule.

The original thread ( same as this one ) was posted in the CS get togethers , just like this one is , it just falls into the Aust catagory , which is why it shows up in the normal forums.

It's a shame as I thought this site may have been a way to meet new people.
I went to a party from another site last night that had about 90 people turn up and a bike ride again this weekend(I organised it so had to attend) with about 25 people turn up.
It's a shame this site can't get some decent get togethers happening.
If this one is still on I should be there as it's close to home which is handy.

cant win em all i guess... i actually had a date lined up for the night , but that wont be happening ( short story , but i'll say its long so i dont have to explain ), so i'll definitely be hoofing it by myself , but i am looking forward to it.. a night out , away from a keyboard and an annoying cat , new scenery and people.. who knows what might eventuate!!

Nothing motivates like a little desperation ... Anyway what's the matter with Desperate and Dateless? I have been to many Red Cross D&D balls.
It's the Desperate and Ruthless that you have to beware of.
will there be any more get togethers in Brisbane/Gold Coast, being a Newbie on this site - sure way to break the ice and get away from home life for a few hours

CS Events are organized by CS members-for CS members. ConnectingSingles is a totally free site. If you are setting up events and working with another group, site or company, you may NOT use this site or CS Forum to solicit, promote or advertise.
Events for CS members need to be entered on a form by clicking the Events link in the top menu bar.
