Thanks for the info Lela. I've posted here before but been completely ignored. That's why it seems like a high school clique. If I post and get no reponse then maybe I'm just not of the "cool kids" 
Of course I also don't want to waste a lot of time typing when we could just be talking and you could see the smile on my face when I'm being sarcastic. 
Are the forums ever specific to states? I haven't found any active ones in Arizona. Thanks.

Do a search for your preferred age group, distance you're willing to go, smoking or not, religeon etc and start sending out flowers. Some fish will nibble.

Some of the state forums aren't that active at all. That's why most are here in the international forum. Good luck in your search! And give yourself some time in the forums. You might just find what you're looking for!

All of the individual states forums are usually pretty dead, well at least the majority. But you know most of the people here that found someone, didn't find someone in there own state, But are now together. There's hope.
As far as the high school clique thing thats silly, it takes time to get to know people and make friends anywhere's you go. It took me awhile before people started noticing me, and I posted often so they could get to know me. Now I have many friends here. Goodluck you can do this.
