Everyone is a mirror. If I don't have that flaw, I can't "SEE" it in another....So ...easier to FIX it in someone else.......Projection.....put my "crap" on someone else, then judge it over there. The hippy movement had that stuff figured: "Don't lay YOUR s___ on Me Man!"

Because it makes him feel "powerful" and more "superior".

The funny thing is that while people like that think they are much more intelligent than everybody else, they don't realize how obvious they become after a while.

The "manipulator" is usually a narcisstic that can't help themselves. "They" are all that matters to them and the only time anyone else does is if it suits their purpose.

I don't know if a career manipulator feels insecure so much but craves power.

IMO it is because they only feel like they can hold onto something they want by controlling it. They don't feel that what they have to offer is enough to make someone love them and want to stay.

doh My last boyfriend was one of these...I think it is all about control. This type of guy (although women can too) is so afraid of not being in control that he takes it from those around them. very mad In my exs case he didn't only manipulate me but, also his family, his ex-wife, his son, his friends and our neighbors.

My girlfriend had a battery-powered manipulator. She even asked me to manipulated it for her. I don't mind being the manipulator, but I prefer to manipulate things manually. Having to use a battery-powered manipulator seemed a bit artificial. She actually had a whole box full of battery-powered manipulators. One of them had a remote-control button. I liked that one because then I was able to manipulate her manipulator whilst in public places like a restaurant.

Normally I'm into manipulation remotely. Honest.
