I agree to the fullest with you both.There is more heart break then love but when you find your one true love it takes all the heart break away.

Pete, I agree with you about the upsides and downsides of single life. However, with the right partner there is no censorship because you're working together as a team, and you still have your own interests and friends. Add to that the bonus of having someone to share all of life's ups and downs with, to cuddle with, to go to sleep and wake up with, and the physical aspect, and that is better than all.
I would rather be single than be with the wrong partner, but I would rather be with the right partner and lose a little of my independence than be single for the rest of my life.
I have found that partner in Buzzy...both of us encourage each other to have our own interests and activities, our own lives, for it would be death to us to be joined at the hip...and we have the communication, respect, and trust already to act as a team, and the love to make this work for the rest of our lives.
