I used to love skating, but it never loved me, i would pay for it with massive blisters on my feet. Didn't stop me though! cheering

Ralf74: Oh yes, had my first heartbreak at the Blue Light! Wearing skin tight vinyl pants, white cropped tshirt with roman numerals on the diagonal and a black mens hat with pointy flat shoes. And the big hair was a given!

It was always held at the skating rink, another great hang out.

thanks for sticking up for me... but I am big enough and ugly enough to take it... I can give it pretty good too... just easing my way in.. I will give it a few weeks before you think I am an opinonated (_*_)

I had my first heartbreak at a school disco too... I remember it like yesterday.. The Mark Wood Roadshow (Adelaide local guy) and her name was #$%$^ and she dumped me to The Angels song "Am I ever gonna see your face again" dancing.. and before you say the rest... I was 14 and did not know that chorus yet.. nor did she...

Oh yes, good one! My mum used to cram as many of us that she could into the old Kingswood stationwagon and cover us up with blankets to get us all in for free.

And we used to play on the swings in front of the sreen at interval and we watched in hysterics once as my brother was running from us and went and jumped into the wrong car! rolling on the floor laughing

I also had a romp in the back of a stationwagon at the movies! wow

Yet another thing in Wait Awhile (WA) that has not totally disappeared yet.. We still have a Drive In ..but its not in Perth...its 3 hours away in the popular holiday town of Bussleton.

I last went a few years ago ..and it did bring all the memories flooding back...
