I was walking in coles today, and happen to spot a Polly Waffle. My god did it bring back memories. I haven't munched on one of them in years.

Does anyone else remember things they had as a child, but they dont have it now, or things you just don't think about getting.

The polly waffle tasted exactly the same too.grin

Where do I start !!

Bacon Crisps - used to get them in high school, but I haven't seen any around for years !

Chicken and Corn Rolls - they were little crumbed, processed chicken pieces with corn through them...might still be able to get them today, but the ones I tried since high school have ever tasted like they did back then.

I'm sure there's heaps more, but I won't bore ya's with 'em all.

Mastercraft and later Nestle's Scorched peanut bar. we were just talking here the other day about them. They are no longer available - BUT

If you use this, and make sure you give the peanuts a GOOD roast, you can have them at home

Another that had disappeared is the chokito. I was never a fan but I had noticed it's absence.

I remember 'spurt' chewing gum.
When you chewed it liquid would spurt out of it. It didn't last long though. I loved it.

I miss the old space invaders games on the table that you sat spread legged at to play either side. We used to walk up to the service station up the road from the caravan park we used to live in to play it. It cost 20c but it went up to 40c while we were there.

My sister and i also had the nintendo hand held games. I had Mario Bros in the square burgandy case and my sister had Donkey Kong in the oblong orange case. cheering

I remember the blue light discos. White long sleeved business shirt, black tie, black fish nets. Hair teased until it reached Mars. Getting down to Footloose. applause

Oh yes, had my first heartbreak at the Blue Light! blues Wearing skin tight vinyl pants, white cropped tshirt with roman numerals on the diagonal and a black mens hat with pointy flat shoes. And the big hair was a given! laugh

It was always held at the skating rink, another great hang out. cheering
