However, I do notice that English is the language used here.

This is getting way OT...the question is rather rhetorical in the OP anyway...nobody can honestly answer that...only time will provide the answer.

still
many non english speakers have been members of this forum
members use the language to the best of their ability

even americans language is faulty sometimes

so what?

and that brings back to the point that why are some questions and various threadstarters found not good enuf while many inane ones are accepted wholeheartedly?

i mean when we walk into a pre established group is it not a bit awkward for any of us to begin a conversation

i say kudos for trying and my opinion is that when there were more non english as a first language members it was pretty darn neat around here

its an international forum and there are many forums here so people can participate as they wish-no rules but speak english and we all do that to our best ability

i think judging ops sucks
thats why i dont d it

i honor my judgement by hangin out or avoiding it
and i think that leads to more peace around here thats all

but face it
what do i know?

rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

I agree with you, E. I don't make fun of anyone's English either, though plenty have done so to others...but to each their own on judging OP's. If you can't take criticism, don't put it out there.

Anyway...since when does someone get jumped all over on here for an honest response to the OP? He had a valid point...no crystal ball, so can't predict the future. And he didn't make fun of the OP's English. Letting someone know you don't understand them is valid, it's not making fun of them.

my point i guess is

are any of these threads -i mean 99% of them
any more or less valuable than any other?

i just dont think so

any time i try to make my point about anything--
99% of those i am just being general
logical
neutral
(i dont like the term devils advocate-i dunno why-)

but people get so emotionally invested and conversing

i mean i am trying to have conversations
i dunno what everyone else is here for

but i do believe there is a place for all types here
its what i like about cs

thumbs up

have a lovely day y'allwave
