I think it is to follow the conversation a little easier, because you will find that there is often many conversation going on in the same thread. saves on confusion. See, if I answered your question with out posting your quote, say 4 hours from now, you and others would maybe not know what I am referring to...most people probably don't know what I am referring to anyways
