Why are sooo many guys on dating sites wanting to date much older women? (68)

Well I think this is totally nuts.
I have had mostly guys in their 30-50 and younger, email me.
They all "soo love" older women.
They can teach us. Oh really? well guys I am still learning myself.
What can you have in common with kids so young, you can't spent all your time in bed.
Besides If he could be my son, age wise, I could never go there.

I think they just love older women...some men are attracted to older women because life is less complicated that way.. little or no drama to deal with.

In my humble opinion, I am not sure where I "fit", not that young (no more babies!!!) sure as hell not old, but I will tell you that a # is just that, nothing more than a #. I am not saying that I relish the idea of the whole "cougar" thing, but if there was a man who happened to be younger than I, but we found a mutual attraction or whathaveyou, there is no way in hell that I would let numbers get in the way....who knows?

Not all women during that stages are a problem. Some women are quite relieved....i.e free from some problems they experience when they were younger... For most women it actually spell the word Freedom!

Don't get me wrong. I like older women. They are different from younger ones, are more mature, understanding, and less caught up in the jet-set lifestyle.

I have been really tossing this around all day and have decided that I have to go out on a limb here....JMHO, but why does alot seem to be so generalized, people painted with one brush so to speak? I wonder -Lonely1, you are aware that many women in their mid to late twenties can begin to experience perimenopause and all the symptoms you deem problamatic? Yet there are many women in their mie 40's to mid 50's who are very fertile, desirable etc. etc. - please stop with the generalizations, it can be a very "unflattering" game to play...Shall we? You are 48? according to your profile - uhm...should we discuss E.D. in men YOUR age, or thinning hair, or loss of muscle tone, or so on and so on? - No, because that would be generalizing. We are all individuals, depending upon our life styles, genetics, general health etc. etc....Oh, and did you not get the memo that 40 is the new 30? and so on and so on. and what goes with 40? We pretty well know what we want and what we don't, we have had enough practice to know what we are doing in all of life, we don't play the drama and head games etc. etc.

Yes, us men of our age have some of the the same problems that older women have. I have noticed a difference however - if truth be told - that men the same age of women looks much younger. Why?

I know of several men who have out lived their wife. In my family my great grandfather out lived his first wife. He got married again, this time to an old girlfriend. He outlived her too. He than outlived world war II and a town wide cellibration was held for his 105th birthday.
My uncle is 85 and outlived his exwife. And he is more healthy and fit than many 10-15 years younger.
Like many said above every one is differant and we don't know how long we get to live.

You have got to be kidding! Men the same age as women looks younger? Some men doesn't look their age, just as some older women look far younger, say ten years younger than they really are. It goes with saying if a woman takes good care of herself . and don't get too stress out, she too will look rather young for her age. Now have you been stressing someone out?......lol
Younger, older, what's the difference. So long as you get along, like and respect each other what does it really matter.
