Only curious about women not answering emails. (31)

ok, I cannot answer for the women whom you HAVE emailed but I can speak for me!

If someone takes the time out to say hello, I will do the same....maybe thru a flower instead of an email... it's common courtesy for me!

however, if the emailing persists and he writes again, I will simply tell him the truth!@ for example, thank you but I am looking for someone whom lives in my city currently....or that I am not interested but thanks for the email just the same.

Some of us are not on here for chit chat...some of us are on here for the simple reason of finding that "rocking chair love" that we all want..... and they figure why make small talk when we have already assumed it "ain't going anywhere"

OR, many of us only have access at work (such as I) and so, our time is lmited (break, lunch hour, etc).....

Pre-Judgement, it happens every day I guess......

Don' think that all women are the same...cause we are not.... just as all men aren't from the same cloth!

I wish you much luck...and as posted by someone previous to me, don't just write hello! IF her profile interested you, say so in your email and ask if she would be interested in chatting....maybe you OPENING the line of communication will give you most responses!

Just to let you know that it is a two way street here, I can concur that men do not reply to mails either, its is just bad manners and I apologise for those who have not replied to you. I answer all mail and even though they do seem to come out of the age group that I stated. Still I reply politely. I do wish that we could teach manners but sadly we cannot. Did you ever conside if they live a distance away they may be willing to travel to you!! I would if the temptation was there for me, not with you do not misunderstand. I just replied to a man who had a brilliant profile and was all wonderful and marvelous, I mailed him and told him he sounded too good to be true, and if he was actually real would he please mail me! Nothing he was not real! This guy was only a few mile away, I was gutted. Now I am chatting to a man in Canada thousands of miles away and not a problem. Best wishes and good luck.

For replying to emails, women just do what they always do and only answer what they want to.

I've had the same problem since joining CS. I have sent quite a few flowers and e-mails and don't receive all that many in return. I think you need to not take it too personaly. I'm with curvy- I try to answer all that I receive, not that I get alot of responces, but out of courtesy. That's just who I am, the way my parents raised me. And I also think Holland girl has it right too, so what if the person is provences away or for me in a different country, some, like myself are willing to travel and or even re-locate given the right circumstances. Hell, I sometimes, feel like ladies see my chubby cheeks, see that I'm a truck driver, read my profile, (which by the way is who I am), and run away screaming never to return. But thats ok, cause I know, that they don't know what their miss'n

I think you hit the nail on the head. Friends are always good but you may never meet your "one" if you don't take the chance of getting rejected or ignored. I'm a bit curious about why more WOMEN don't make first contact though. (except of course for the ones from certain other countries...lol)

i am new to this site, but i have been on others and although i cannot answer for anyone else, i know for myself if someone sends me a message, the only reason i would not answer them is because i am not attracted to them or because they live to far away.

I am curious too..my photo was rated a 10 by a guy from aussie and i think he is cute and kind to give me a 10, so i decided to dropped by and say hello to him..he didnt reply..then he rated my second photo a 10 again..so i emailed him again to say thank you..and as expected he didnt reply again..its so weird..i didnt expect for us to have a relationship i am just hoping to get a hello back since i emailed him twice..isnt it courteous to say your welcome when someone says thank you to you?anyway, it was weird.so what i am saying its not only the women who dont reply same as men.
