Well, I was in relationship for six months which ended this past January after not having dated for almost 12 years. My ex-girlfriend left me the week I got laid off from my job and out the blue she told she didn't feel anything for me, that she didn't want see me anymore, and that she dated me out of boredom. That was the longest relationship I was ever in. And why I'm still single? Maybe because the few women I manage to date in my life pull similar or worst crap than her. But I am trying to keep a positive attitude and I try to think there is probably somebody decent out there for me. I'm not exactly sure how many years it will take me to find that person, but I cannot give up because of that.

6 and a half years single,and kinda forgotten what I liked about relationships now.I'm mostly just reminded about the negative stuff from friends coming to me to vent..
I do remember I was happily married.
yep single life is as good as the work you put into an active social life/network..it'll do..
I have not been single very long. Widowed almost Two years ago.
I am content for the moment.
I miss having someone around to chat to, talk rubbish with instead of the walls. Enjoy breakfast every morning and a night cap at the end of the day.
The smallest things are the things I miss most.
Social life is very good but not the same without a partner.
I am still single because I haven't met someone compatible.

Thanx for the complament bout the thread.............The thing is i never get more then ten replies and that tells me that they are not great..................I'm happy as I am .. I sometimes miss being in a relationship and having someone special to share those intimate moments with .. but happiness lives inside - do you agree?
Well i just think of something that i would like to talk about and hope others would like to answer what they feel about the subject. I am a deep thinker and I often think i am a bit weird as i always ponder things like a good movie with a plot i will think about it days after and think of diffrent ways the plot could have worked just weird i guess.........

I guess I prefer to spend my time with somebody rather than wasted by myself. I rather share time and thoughts with that special person.

Its been a couple of years since my last 'serious relationship'..........I like being single though as I get to do what the heck I like.
I do miss the companionship and those other things,sometimes, ....... but its better alone than with the wrong person for the wrong reasons.

Just over a year.
Cause i still have hands.
Most of the time
Having someone iron clean etc
Since my divorce in 2002 I had a 2 year relationship over here which ended 2 years ago but we are still friends and usually meet up for a coffee every week. I don't mind being single, but I prefer to be in a relationship, life is more enjoyable when you can share it with the right person. If you're not with the right person though, it can be hell, that's why I'm taking my time (that and not having any suitable offers anyway!)
