S1m0ne

RE: S1m0ne

I don't get why this wasn't huge. Everything about it was wonderful. Al Pacino doesn't make comedies much and he really does a humorous Dr. Frankenstein well.

lord of the rings trilogy

RE: lord of the rings trilogy

A great action adventure film with lots of important messages. How absolute power corrupts absolutely; what true friendship is about; and what true love can look like.

The scenery of the film is magnificent and the music is matched to the film perfectly, bringing to life the passions and emotions of the characters.

Enjoyed the entirety of the films, but my favorite scene is the romantic one shared by Aragorn and Arwen in the first film to the song "Aniron" by Enya. Recommend viewing, "Aniron Lyrics/translation [Lord of the Rings Soundtrack] (Lot ROST) Arwen and Aragorn's Love Theme.wmv

Absolutely love this movie! Zach Snyder's 2004 take on Romero's '78 classic was genius.

Supernatural

Supernatural

Supernatural is an American television series created by Eric Kripke. It was first broadcast on September 13, 2005, on The WB and subsequently became part of successor The CW's lineup. Starring Jared Padalecki as Sam Winchester and Jensen Ackles as Dean Winchester, the series follows the two brothers as they hunt demons, ghosts, monsters, and other supernatural beings in the world. The series is produced by Warner Bros. Television, in association with Wonderland Sound and Vision. The current executive producers are McG, Robert Singer, Jeremy Carver, Phil Sgriccia, and Adam Glass.Former executive producer Kim Manners died of lung cancer during production of the fourth season.

The series is filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia and surrounding areas and was in development for nearly ten years, as creator Kripke spent several years unsuccessfully pitching it. The pilot was viewed by an estimated 5.69 million viewers, and the ratings of the first four episodes prompted The WB to pick up the series for a full season. Originally, Kripke planned the series for three seasons but later expanded it to five. The fifth season began airing on September 10, 2009, and concluded the series' main storyline;however, The CW officially renewed the show for a sixth season on February 16, 2010

On February 13, 2014, The CW renewed the series for a tenth season. Misha Collins continued as a series regular and Mark Sheppard was promoted to a series regular for the tenth season

Gettysburg

RE: Gettysburg

It is a durn good pseudo documentary. I say pseudo because it isn't a documentary, but a movie about a true to life event involving real people and some of their dialogue is authentic and mentioned in other people's memoirs, but some may not be. Nevertheless it is a great (but somewhat long) movie about the Civil War and a single battle, with a monumental mistake made by Lee that totally turned the War around into eventual defeat for the South.

Band of brothers

RE: Band of brothers

Did you have a parent or a grand parent who fought in WW2 in Europe from D Day on? This may be much what their experience was like for them. The boxed DVDs also contain interviews with some of the actual men depicted in the movie. Sadly this movie was made after many of the other characters depicted had already died of old age.
