Flow River Barrow

Flow gently softly water flow
On your journey to the sea
Passing green fields as you flow
Flow silent water flow.

Deep meandering you embrace
River and canal a race
Rippling water, weir’s and eddies
Flow onward never stopping.

Flow swiftly river flow
Meet your sisters as you go
gathering strength as you speed
an urgency to meet the sea.

Kaliste3
When at last your journey end
You broaden and expand
Giving up to sea unfold
Flow gentle river barrow flow.
