You sleep in your silo day and night Your systems ready for the flight You have no conscious no heart no soul You do not know the death you toll You have no brain no mouth to say You have no sage or god to pray Your warheads primed for the fight You do not know wrong from right And as the minutes tick away We await the deadly day And when you wake the world will quake And when you fly a race will die So go to sleep for a thousand years We all want peace and no more tears

About this poem:
BASIC NOT AS CREATIVE AS I IMAGINED.WANTED TO START OF SLOW AND END IN A BANG
actually i'd prefer you didn't end with a bang, me either for that matter. ok, ok, i must say that i really, really like this poem. the total dis-anthropomorphizing of ballistics in tubes, let alone in general(s) is great. Very nice write dude....if i may call you that Felix. ;-)
Hi, fleixxxx, We all want peace and no more tears is certainly something to write home about! May the ballistic missiles stay in their silos day and night. Peace! Amen!

Titles effect the poem...because sometimes you track straight past....but we must all learn to check in and read.... I was pleasantly surprised....enjoyed your write, and the sincerity....good one...felixxxxx....Niah
a very dark thought felix, but one that we live with. (my older sister can be a bit like this aswell!) i like to believe these missiles will never be deployed...
